Raine woke, cold.Cold with more then the chill of winter.cold with the presence of anticipation stronger then the one 3 years ago that had sent her,shivering to her window,to watch as the storm bluw in......two days ago the first snow settled in to our little city,the air chilled and the ground froze in anticipation of the long awaited snow day.Childrens small round faces peaked out the windows, and for a second everything was quiet. Then the news came....no snow day!!!It would be wensday before a big storm came and the admin. didnt wish to give students to meny days before the break off.
